Philips Unveils AI‑Powered Health Tech at China’s Biggest Medical Fair

At the 93rd China International Medical Equipment Fair, Philips showcased more than 50 cutting‑edge products, with 20 of them driven by artificial intelligence. The exhibition was organized into seven zones—including a Precision Diagnosis Harbor, an Interventional Navigation Cabin, and the brand‑new Innovation Future Lab—highlighting solutions for cardiovascular disease, neurology, oncology and sleep apnea. Liu Ling, Philips’ Global Executive Committee member and President of Greater China, emphasized that China’s healthcare is at a turning point where systematic, value‑focused innovation is needed more than isolated breakthroughs. Philips aims to embed AI across the entire care pathway, from early diagnosis to treatment planning and outcome monitoring. Key highlights featured the AI3 SuperBrain platform that integrates AI into MRI workflows, turning scans into high‑definition digital assets for research and drug testing. The Azurion S Global AI catheter lab promises sub‑millisecond positioning, up to an 83% radiation dose reduction and a 17% boost in procedural efficiency. The EPIQ CVx Transcend offers eight AI‑assisted cardiovascular tools, while Deep CT delivers ultra‑low‑dose, high‑resolution images for community hospitals. A 3‑D visual simulation avatar can condense ten seconds of data into a one‑second, intuitive display, speeding critical‑care decisions. Philips also announced a revamped China innovation strategy, pledging deeper collaboration with local clinicians and industry partners to build a smart, sustainable health ecosystem that puts clinical value first.
